El objeto de estudio de su último y extenso capítulo, que instaura el pasado inmediato y el tiempo cero del libro, parece ser el puñado de novelas de unos poetas (Cucurto, Dalia Rosetti, Gabriela Bejerman, Pablo Pérez, Dani Umpi) y de un guionista inconcluso (Alejandro López), y los cuentos de Cecilia Pavón. Pero “Desbunde y felicidad” no se detiene ahí. Por el desfiladero de esas escrituras, de sus operaciones de producción y circulación, llega a un lugar extraño y compacto: un pequeño espacio de intercambios amistosos que en la potente succión del cambio de siglo en la Argentina redescubren y fundan una política de la lengua y de los cuerpos, y un mercado que oscila entre la industria y la feria. En ese proceso discute las preguntas que le dan sentido a la instalación de un canon y abre una perspectiva para leer una literatura rioplatense que nos es estrictamente contemporánea.

Cecilia Palmeiro nació en Buenos Aires. Estudió Letras y enseñó Semiología, Teoría Literaria y Estudios Culturales en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Es Doctora en Literatura Latinoamericana por la Universidad de Princeton, especializada en literaturas argentina y brasileña contemporáneas. Ha publicado traducciones y ensayos de literatura argentina y brasileña en la Argentina, Brasil, Estados Unidos y México. Enseñó Estudios Latinoamericanos Contemporáneos en Birkbeck, Universidad de Londres. Actualmente es becaria postdoctoral del CONICET (Argentina) y profesora de Teorías Contemporáneas en la Universidad de Tres de Febrero. “Desbunde y felicidad. De la cartonera a Perlongher” fue publicado por primera vez en 2011, y será editado en Brasil por la Editora de la Universidade Estadual de Rio de Janeiro en 2014. Su segundo libro, “Políticas de la amistad: Correspondencia reunida de Néstor Perlongher”, saldrá en 2013 por Mansalva.
